Formerly known as Princeton Redi-Mix and established in 1968, Princeton Redi-Crete Inc. is a family-owned business located off Interstate 80, exit 56, Princeton, IL. Since 2019, we have expanded our capabilities with 23 radio-dispatched trucks. We provide approved concrete mixes for IDOT, Wind Farms, Flour Mills, and serve City, County, Commercial, Farm, and Residential projects. How do weather conditions affect my pour?

Hot weather: We recommend earlier pours, shade if possible, water reducers, and timely finishing/cure.
Cold weather: Use heated water, accelerators, blankets, and avoid pouring on frozen ground. We can suggest seasonal mix options.

What aggregates do you offer?

We supply sand, mason sand, stone, fractured rock, and landscape stone for base layers, drainage, paver setting, decorative use, and general construction.

What’s the difference between sand and mason sand?

Mason sand is a finer, more uniform sand ideal for mortar and paver joints; general sand is great for backfill, leveling, and drainage applications.

What is “fractured rock” used for?

Fractured rock has angular faces that lock together, making it ideal for driveway base, structural base layers, and erosion control.
